AXIS T8353A provides enhanced audio quality compared to the camera's internal microphone. The omnidirectional microphone has a 3.5 mm connector, compatible with network products supporting a 3.5 mm jack for microphone input. AXIS T8353A microphone is based on components normally used in recording studios, television stations and concert halls. Its design allows for discreet and flexible installation. The microphone can be used for covert audio detection or as a complement to an indoor video surveillance. Moreover, the 5 meters (197 in) long cable allows the microphone to be installed closer to the sound source.
